Kathy Shanks, Director of Children's Ministries

Kathy is from Fredericton, N.B. She is the youngest of 6 girls and was raised in a Christian home. She is married to Randy. Randy accepted the Lord as his Saviour by way of a Sunday School bus ministry. Randy and Kathy have one child named Tyler who is currently in his fourth year at UNB.

Previous to MW Kathy was at Bethany Bible College and served as the Executive Director of Admissions/Marketing. Prior to that 4 year term Kathy worked for CIBC for 27 years. Kathy worked in various capacities with the bank in management, sales and marketing. The last branch she managed was CIBC, King and Germain, Saint John, N.B.

Kathy has been involved with many organizations outside the church. She was President of Equite N.B. Equity. President of the Women in Business Forum for the Board of Trade, member of the Sussex Christian School Council, member of the Marketing Committee for the Canadian Christian Higher Education Council (CHEC).

Currently a board member for Beulah Campground she previously was a member of boards in the two Wesleyan churches she attended. Olivet Wesleyan and Kingsvalley Wesleyan. Further involvement in the church included Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Director of Ladies Ministries, Sunday School bus ministry.

Kathy loves children! Kathy feels blessed to be called by God to Moncton, N.B. to love their children and help prepare them for eternity!!

Stefanie Price, Children's Ministry Assistant

Stefanie was born and raised in Riverview. She’s been married to her high school sweetheart, Brad, for eleven years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Jacob and Joshua. She is actively involved in children’s ministries with the midweek program as well as on Sunday mornings. It is her desire to see that all children come to know our Saviour through the wonderful programs offered at Moncton Wesleyan.
